Enjoy Calabria is the first 3D tourist community capable of creating a web platform that could unite the community spirit typical of social networks with a new concept of innovative territorial marketing based on the "virtual" reconstruction of the territories and environments. Whoever connects to the portal will be able, following registration, to create a personal profile, a travel diary to recount experiences, provide feedback and opinions and chat with other users. The representation of Calabria in 3 Dimensions begins with a map of the Region in which the locations, artworks and businesses are indicated reconstructed in 3D. The user will be able to create an enjoy-avatar and enter realistically into the Enjoy Calabria world to meet other users connected at that time, share information, provide suggestions and make purchases in the local businesses which adhere to the platform.

With regard to the objectives of the project the definition of the specifics and technical analysis of the web platform have been concluded; the web portal is in progress as is the development of applications for digital divide and those for testing on pilot locations. Further analysis of the regional territory has been carried out to identify the main tourist attractions and the development of possible itineraries. Studies of facilitation for Digital Divide have been carried out as well as testing of the prototype planned to be submitted to a sample of users. Research and analysis of the regional territory have been conducted to identify some main tourist attractions and the development of possible itineraries and places to be reproduced virtually.

The planning and creation of a Facebook fan page for Enjoy Calabria has proceeded as well as the planning and creation of other Social profiles. A re-examination of activities for the development of the Stand Alone application has been carried out, starting with the definition of requirements, to understand what functions the web platform will report in the app. The stand alone version of the 3D application will have substantially the same characteristics as the web application.
