Description	Referring to the distribution market, it is witnessing a significant increase in the use of motorized two-wheelers for delivery cargo and mail. So the change of the utilized vector has prompted the need of reviewing logistics and organizational logic both in small and large companies of the sector. The objective of DESMO project is to train specialized researchers and technicians able to design and implement innovative solutions for logistic management of goods and people with emphasis on mobility in urban areas trough motorized two-wheelers. The aim is to obtain high profile professionals characterized by management skills, able to relate to various project teams, managing joint planning phases in not conventional fields. For this purpose, they should have provided a set of very high expertise in the fields of sensors, access control, data mining, data security, operative research and optimization techniques. The competence in understanding not-ordinary phenomena, such as staff employed behaviours in various weather and traffic conditions, use of PPE, and other aspects related to the risks for health and safety, will be a very important aspect of training. Due to the complete spectrum of acquired expertise, Professionals will be able to integrate and interact with the working team, with remarkable technical competences for the high profile (Researcher), and with more managerial and operating skills, for the other one (Technicians of Research), but both with excellent relationship and ability to teamworking. The project includes periods of joint training for Researchers and Technicians both for specialized modules and for soft skill ones. Therefore, these training periods have to be designed to implement an efficient resources management and to create a common basis, required for ensure a proper co-action of Research and Management areas. The figure of Technician of Research, that is the “Manager of Logistic” has a strategic importance because this role should be able of behaving as a filter between production and research world by translating the needs of the first one in technical features to be adopted by Researchers, thus helping the company in implementing defined solutions.
